I decided to use my graphic design background to create the invitations, website, signage, and thank you cards for my wedding that was held in April 2024.
As a part of the in-house marketing team, I completed various creative tasks. I was responsible for:
I had multiple projects assigned to me at any given time. I worked alongside other designers and marketing specialists. Tasks were divided up between the members of the team, and we all had to communicate effectively to make sure all projects for our loan officers and company were completed and accurate.
Programs used: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Teamwork, Microsoft Teams, Adobe Premiere Pro, etc.
To get the soft, yet sophisticated spring theming I wanted for my wedding suite, I spent time studying wedding invitation styles that centered around floral elements and that also paired elegant, handrawn script typeface with a sans-serif typeface. I purchased some beautiful watercolor flower art and a handdrawn typeface called Northwell from some talented designers on Creative Market to use across all pieces of this collection. For the sans serif body type and parts of the headings, I chose Montserrat, as it is a clean typeface that is easy to read and didn't overpower or clash with the eye-catching Northwell typeface.
Print designs were created in Adobe InDesign, while I used Webflow to create my wedding website, using my design portfolio's visual structure as a starting point. For icons used on the website, I used Bootstrap Icons as my source.
